Vadivelu debut movie as a hero Imsai Arasan 23m pulikesi. It was a Tamil Historical Comedy film which was a massive hit at the box office. Pulikesi was produced by Director S.Shankar directed by Simbudevan. Pulikesi story was about the twins out of which one was the coward and very funny Arasan Pulikesi and the other very aggressive character ,ugraputtiran who tries to save the kingdom from the bad grips of Nasser. The Story has an extremely entertaining plot. After Imsai Arasan 23m pulikesi , vadivelu acted as a hero in Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan which was a big flop.
